Fiddy Send is a browser extension developed by Fidean Technologies Limited. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
- WhatsApp contacts: Phone numbers and names you upload to send messages. These are used only during the send session and are not stored on our servers.
- License keys: When you purchase a license, we store your email, payment reference, and license key for fulfillment and support.
- Usage data: Number of messages sent (for quota tracking) and feature usage.
- Payment data: Processed by Paystack — we do not see or store your card details. Transaction references and amounts are stored for license fulfillment.
How We Use Your Information
- To operate the extension and track your usage quota
- To fulfill paid licenses after Paystack payment
- To improve the extension based on aggregate usage patterns
- To send transaction receipts and license activation emails
Data Storage
- Contact data: Stored locally in your browser. Never transmitted to our servers.
- License and payment data: Stored securely on our VPS in Nigeria.
- Usage logs: Anonymous, aggregated statistics only.
Third-Party Services
- Paystack — payment processing. See Paystack Privacy Policy.
- WhatsApp Web — the extension interacts with web.whatsapp.com in your own browser session.
Data Retention
License records are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months. Contact data is never retained by us — it exists only in your browser during the send session.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your license and payment records by contacting support@fideantech.com. Paid license records are kept for accounting purposes as required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, HMAC-signed webhooks) to protect data in transit. License keys are generated using cryptographically secure random values.
